DNA and Protein Synthesis
The website https://learn.genetics.utah.edu is an excellent resource for learning about genetics and cellular biology. In lab this week we extracted DNA from split peas. We also talked about protein synthesis: how our cells make proteins by transcribing DNA into RNA, then translate the RNA into a protein.
